About Tamar Feldman, RDN, CDE
Hi, I’m Tamar Feldman — Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, and Functional Medicine Nutritionist.
I help people heal from the inside out by getting to the real reasons behind digestive issues, hormone imbalance, thyroid dysfunction, fertility struggles, and chronic symptoms.
If you’ve been told “Your labs are normal,” “Just eat more fiber,” or “Its just IBS- live with it” — I’m here to offer a different approach.
My Journey
I’ve been a dietitian since 2006, and started my career as a Clinical Dietitian in hospitals and long-term care, following the “standard” path. But it didn’t take long to realize that the one-size-fits-all, symptom-management approach just didn’t align with how I wanted to help people.
In 2008, I opened my own private practice and began working with clients one-on-one. What began as a focus on weight management and diabetes quickly grew into something much bigger: supporting people who felt dismissed, misdiagnosed, or stuck — especially those navigating digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, infertility, and thyroid concerns.
Very quickly, I became the go-to for people who had “tried everything” to lose weight or feel better — especially in more complex, medically-involved cases.
Over and over again, I saw the same pattern:
Mainstream advice was missing the root of the problem.
My clients with Crohn’s and Colitis were told diet didn’t matter. My IBS clients were sent home with vague instructions and little support. My thyroid clients were prescribed Synthroid — and that was it.
I knew there had to be a better way.
And I found it in Functional Medicine.
It gave me the tools to look deeper, ask better questions, and create personalized plans that actually moved the needle. I trained extensively, learned from top practitioners, and began applying everything in real time — watching clients finally get to the why behind their symptoms and start to heal.
Over the years, I’ve become especially passionate about supporting women through hormone imbalances, thyroid dysfunction, and fertility struggles. Helping women regulate their cycles and conceive — often with fewer interventions — is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
I’m constantly in awe of how powerful clean, real food and targeted lifestyle shifts can be in restoring the body’s natural balance.
I believe food is medicine, education is power, and your health is absolutely worth investing in.

A Bit About Me
At home, I live what I teach. I’m a wife and mom of seven, always experimenting with whole foods and herbs in the kitchen, soaking up time outdoors, reading up on gut health, and doing my best to find balance in a beautifully full life.
Alongside my private practice, I also consult for the gut health app Belly, publish articles and blog content, and create online courses and e-books — but my favorite part will always be watching clients transform from confused and frustrated to confident and thriving.
I’m proud to be recognized as a leading voice in gut and hormone health — but I’ll never stop learning, evolving, or refining my approach.
My goal is simple:
To offer the kind of personalized, high-level care you’d expect from a top-tier functional medicine doctor — without the $5,000 price tag or overwhelming testing.
If you’re tired of band-aid solutions and ready for real, lasting change, I’d love to guide your journey.
The Power of Real, Clean Food
I help men and women overcome gut health issues like IBS, IBD, and other digestive disorders by using the principles of functional medicine and the healing power of real, whole foods. My goal is to uncover the root causes and support lasting, meaningful change through personalized, evidence-based nutrition.
Empowering Women Through Functional Medicine
I’ve been fortunate to help countless women suffering from both diagnosed and undiagnosed thyroid issues, female hormone disorders, and fertility challenges. My approach is centered on using functional medicine to regulate cycles and promote conception, often requiring fewer medical interventions than would traditionally be necessary — or, in many cases, none at all.
A Rewarding Journey
What I find most rewarding about my work is watching my clients truly understand what’s going on in their bodies — and witnessing the moment when they finally start to feel better. It’s a privilege to be part of their healing journey.
Ready to finally get to the root of what’s going on?
Let’s work together to create a plan that actually helps you feel like you again.
